VICT Terminal closure due to COIVD-19

Attention: Shipping Manager

Further to our previous notices about COVID-19 cases reported at Port Botany in Sydney, we have been advised of a COVID-19 positive case detected at Victorian International Container Terminal (VICT) at Melbourne port.

Due to this reason, VICT will close for landside operations effective immediately. Trucks already inside the terminal are advised to leave without completing their transactions. The terminal anticipates the resumption of operations from 10 pm today, subject to Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)’s advice. VICT Terminal is currently working through the process to accommodate any bookings that have been affected by the closure.

If you have concerns regarding any container deliveries, please do not hesitate to contact your customer service representative.

We will keep you updated with any further information.
