Temporary Closure of Qantas Freight Terminal Melbourne – Further Update
Further to our yesterday’s notice on Qantas Freight Terminal closure in Melbourne, we have received an additional update. The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services completely assessed the terminal site yesterday. Given the importance of freight movement, Qantas terminal is working with regulatory authorities to resume operations as soon as its possible. At Present, both the Qantas Freight Domestic and International terminal have completely stopped their operations and will be closed for at least another 24 hours. This means that freight can’t be delivered or collected from these terminals.
Flights which use Menzies or DNATA terminal at Melbourne airport will still run as scheduled.
Dieterle & Victory will keep you updated on this matter.
