Svitzer Australia Lockout Update

As outlined in our previous notice, Svitzer Australia has taken action to lockout all crews, effective from noon this Friday.

We have been informed as of 16 November, that the fair work commission will be holding a hearing in relation to the lockout proposed by Svitzer.
It is understood that if termination orders are made at the hearing, it will end all Protected Industrial Action and will initiate arbitration of the bargaining claims.
