MUA’s Protected Industrial Action against Svitzer

We have received a notice regarding Maritime Union of Australia’s industrial action against the tug boat service provider, Svitzer Australia. Svitzer provides crucial towage services to ships arriving and departing Australian shores.
The planned action will take place at Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide ports for 3 days, from 12 am on Wednesday 24th March till 11:59 pm on Friday 26th March.
It is expected that this will cause some disruption to vessel schedules. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
