MUA Industrial Action at Patrick Terminal Sydney

Further to our previous notices about Maritime Union of Australia’s (MUA) Industrial action at Patrick Terminals, we have been advised that the action at Sydney terminal will be further extended.

Details of these additional actions are given below:

  • A ban on working overtime at Port Botany (Sydney) for 14 days starting from 6am Thursday 3rd June 2021 and finishing at 6am Thursday 17th June 2021.
  • A ban on shift extensions at Port Botany (Sydney) for 14 days starting from 6am Thursday 3rd June 2021 and finishing at 6am Thursday 17th June 2021.
  • A ban on working in higher levels and/or performing upgrades at Port Botany (Sydney) starting from 10pm Friday 4th June 2021 and finishing at 10pm Sunday 6th June 2021.
  • A ban on working in higher levels and/or performing upgrades at Port Botany (Sydney) starting from 10pm Friday 11th June 2021 and finishing at 10pm Sunday 13th June 2021.

Please expect some delays and disruptions to vessel schedules and container operations during this period due to the labour shortage.
