COVID 19 – Lockdown Extension in India

Latest news coming out of India is that the Indian Government has extended its countrywide lockdown for two more weeks, which ends at midnight on 31^st of May 2020. This is being done to reduce Corona Virus transmission within the community. According to the lockdown notice, all domestic and International passenger air travel is forbidden except for medical services and security purposes. All educational institutions remain closed and the Government is encouraging institutions to switch to online/distant learning. Up until now, only a handful of manufacturing factories have reopened for business.
