MUA Industrial Action at Patrick Terminals and Westernport Victoria

Further to our previous notices about Maritime Union of Australia’s (MUA) Industrial action at Patrick Terminals, we have been advised that the actions at Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle terminals will be further extended.
Patrick Terminals – Melbourne:
- 24 hours of work stoppage starting from 7 am Friday 23rd July 2021
- 4 hours of work stoppage starting at 3 am on Monday 26th July and Wednesday 28th July 2021
- 8 hours of work stoppage starting at 11 am on Monday 26th July 2021 and Wednesday 28th July 2021
- A ban on working overtime and shift extensions starting from 7 am Saturday 24th July 2021 and finishing at 7 am Saturday 31st July 2021
Patrick Terminals – Brisbane:
- 1 hour of work stoppage at 3:30 am, 11:30 am and 7:30 pm each day, starting from Thursday 22nd July 2021 and finishing on Wednesday 28th July 2021
- 24 hours of work stoppage starting at 7 am on Wednesday 21st July 2021 and Thursday 29th July 2021
- A ban on working overtime and shift extensions starting from 7 am Thursday 22nd July 2021 and finishing at 7 am Thursday 29th July 2021
Patrick Terminals – Fremantle:
Days on which an employee is rostered as ‘off/avail’, there will be a ban on attending work starting from 7 am Wednesday 21st July 2021 and finishing at 7 am Wednesday 11th August 2021
- 24 hours of work stoppage starting at 11 pm on Thursday 22nd July 2021 and Sunday 25th July 2021
Melbourne and Westernport, Victoria:
We have been advised that MUA’s Industrial action against Svitzer in Melbourne and Westernport, Victoria has also been extended, this action will result in the following stoppage:
- 16 hours of work stoppage starting at 4 pm Friday 23rd July 2021 and finishing at 8 am Saturday 24th July 2021
Please expect some delays and interruptions to vessel schedules and terminal operations during these periods.
