Extension of DP World Industrial Action

Unfortunately, it is not good news as we have received advice from our industry body, FTA, that despite continued efforts to reach an understanding, a further series of work bans and stoppages have been announced, upto and including Monday 11th December. A list of the upcoming protected industrial action due to take place in each port is attached.
This will cause further delays to ports already badly affected by the continuing strikes. Shipping lines are now regularly changing port rotations and/or omitting ports resulting in delays and sometimes additional charges. Our carriers are reporting daily port closures and difficulties collecting containers resulting in futile trips, along with detention being invoiced by shipping lines.
